Refund Policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Everything sold here is a digital file. Once it has been downloaded it cannot be handed back, which is why digital goods are treated differently from physical ones almost everywhere in the world. Here is exactly where I stand.
When you get your money back, no argument
- The file will not download, or arrives corrupt, and I cannot fix it
- You received something different from what the listing described — wrong level, wrong skill, missing files
- You were charged twice for the same item
- You bought the same resource twice by mistake, having not used the second copy
Message me through the contact page within 30 days of the order with your order number. In these cases I refund in full, and I do not require you to justify it beyond telling me what went wrong.
When I generally cannot refund
Once a file has been downloaded and it works and matches its description, I cannot take it back — you have the material. In particular, refunds are not normally available because:
- The lesson did not go well with a particular class
- You changed your mind after downloading, or bought something you turned out not to need
- You wanted a different level or topic from the one you chose
- You cannot open the file because you do not have the software the listing names
That said, I would still rather hear from you. If a lesson genuinely fell apart in your classroom, tell me which stage failed and what your group was like. That feedback usually improves the resource, and I will send you the revised version free. Where a complaint is reasonable and the file clearly did not do its job, I use common sense rather than hiding behind this page.
Your statutory rights
Consumers in the UK and EU normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. For digital downloads that right ends once the download begins, and by completing checkout you agree to immediate access and acknowledge that the cancellation right is lost at that point. Nothing on this page removes any right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived, including your rights when goods are faulty or not as described.
Try before you buy
The simplest way to avoid a refund request is to see the writing first. There are complete free lessons on the free resources page — full versions, not extracts. If those suit the way you teach, the paid materials will too.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. I process them within three working days; how quickly the money appears is up to your bank or PayPal, and usually takes another five to ten. Refunding a resource ends your licence to use it, and access is removed from your account.
